At the last minute on Saturday, we decided to head up to Salt Lake to go to Temple Square and see the lights. Graham and I haven't done this in years and the kids have never been. It makes me somewhat sad that we didn't take advantage of being so close more often. This is our last winter here!
The lights were gorgeous as usual. I love being there - everyone slowing down just a bit to enjoy the beautiful decorations. No one is shoving past each other or running around to get things done. They're just there to enjoy the moment and be with the ones they love.
We're very much looking forward to having time to even think about the holidays and are excited about the time we'll get to spend as a family over the next few weeks!
